Student Scholarships

NcCPAp/AICPA Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors

Administered by the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NcCPAp), this program offers competitive merit-based scholarships to outstanding graduating high school seniors planning to pursue careers as a certified public accountants. The AICPA funds the individual $1,000 awards.

AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship
The AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship program provides financial assistance to students who are currently majoring in accounting, finance, or information systems. Five scholarships are awarded annually to AICPA student affiliate members.

John L. Carey Scholarship

The AICPA John L. Carey Scholarship program provides financial assistance to liberal arts degree holders pursuing graduate studies in accounting and the CPA designation. Up to ten $5,000 scholarships are awarded annually.

Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students

This scholarship program provides awards of up to $5,000 to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. The program has been in existence for more than 20 years and has awarded more than $6 million in scholarships.

Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop

In its fourteenth year, the AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop is an annual invitational program for minority accounting students who plan to pursue the CPA designation. This event aims to strengthen students’ professional skills and understanding of the limitless possibilities and benefits of earning the CPA credential. Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students

The primary objective of the AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students program is to enable more minorities to enter and move ahead in the accounting profession and academe. Fellowships of up to $12,000 are awarded once a year to full-time minority accounting scholars who show significant potential to become accounting educators.

The Bea Sanders/AICPA Innovation in Teaching Award
