Student Scholarships AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship The AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship program provides financial assistance to students who are currently majoring in accounting, finance, or information systems. Five scholarships are awarded annually to AICPA student affiliate members. Carey Scholarship program provides financial assistance to liberal arts degree holders pursuing graduate studies in accounting and the CPA designation. Learn More>> Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students This scholarship program provides awards of up to $5,000 to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. The program has been in existence for more than 20 years and has awarded more than $6 million in scholarships. Application deadline: March 15, 2010. Learn More>>   Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop In its fourteenth year, the AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop is an annual invitational program for minority accounting students who plan to pursue the CPA designation. Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students The primary objective of the AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students program is to enable more minorities to enter and move ahead in the accounting profession and academe. Fellowships of up to $12,000 are awarded once a year to full-time minority accounting scholars who show significant potential to become accounting educators. Application deadline: April 1, 2010. Educator Awards The Bea Sanders/AICPA Innovation in Teaching Award & The Mark Chain/FSA Innovation in Graduate Teaching Award  The Bea Sanders/AICPA Innovation in Teaching Award is designed to recognize and disseminate successful practices in the first course sequence in accounting.
